PLEASE CARPOOL!!

As we are about a week away from the wedding I want to clarify some questions that I have been receiving.

1. The CEREMONY is at Red Rocks Trading Post. It is not in the amphitheater. The Trading Post is at the base of the theater and there is a map (with the Trading Post labeled) on the Hotels and Transport page. There will be a small parking lot available directly in front of the Trading Post but because of the the concert there is no guarantee of available parking in that lot. There are 8000 people worth of parking spots so please either park with the concert patrons (I know, I am scared for you too) or ask someone wearing a vest where you can park. This is also why I am urging you to CARPOOL.

2. The RECEPTION is at Pelican Point picnic area inside Bear Creek Lake Park. There are signs to follow once you get inside the park. Please ask the ranger for a map/directions if you feel unsure about following the signs. There are directions to the entrance of Bear Creek Lake Park on the Hotels and Transport page.

3. TIME--the ceremony will start at 2:30pm. Please arrive at the Trading Post with enough time to find a parking space and be seated by 2:15pm. There will be a short gap between the end of the ceremony and the beginning of the reception to allow enough time for us to take pictures and for people to find their way to Pelican Point.

Hello All!

We are getting very excited to see everyone and celebrate. The time of the ceremony has finally been decided, it will be at 2:30pm MDT at Red Rocks Trading Post backyard. The reception will be from 4-8pm at Bear Creek Lake Regional Park. More details and directions can be found under the Hotels and Transport tab. Thank you all for being patient with us while we had to make our decision. There were/are many details involved with the timing due to the concert. If you have any questions feel free to contact either one of us. We are looking forward to the "big day"!!

What time is the wedding?

Well, here's the elephant in the room. There is a Widespread Panic concert scheduled at Red Rocks Amphitheater on the evening of the wedding. The concert will be after the ceremony, but because Widespread Panic fans will be tailgating in the park, this may pose a problem for wedding guests getting in and out of Red Rocks. This is why there has not been a concrete decision about the actual time. Please check back for more details.

Going Green with RSVP

A tab at the top of the page is titled "RSVP."  Please click on this link, and fill out the RSVP form.  We are trying to "go green" by reducing the amount of paper we send to all of our guests.

WELCOME!! Jon and I are happy to have you with us as we embark on our life as a married couple. This includes planning a wedding, deciding where Jon will attend grad school and when to start having babies (my personal favorite topic).
